The top in the photos was made with a 4.5mm hook (US 7) and the yarn used was 4 Seasons Flinders Cotton 8ply, DK/Light Worsted, 50g (1.76 ounces)/115m (125.7 yd), 13 wpi.
You can use any yarn and hook you like as you do not necessarily need to meet my gauge. You will calculate the rows and stitches you need based on your own gauge and body measurements.
